Meet Our Team

Todd Falberg

I’m Todd Falberg. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Lehman College and over 30 years of experience working with individuals of all ages in the special needs community. I’m passionate about creating joyful, inclusive spaces—and I love using music, especially guitar and singing, to connect and uplift. Making people smile is what I do best.

Maria Donovan

I'm Maria Donovan, a building substitute teacher at STEPS Transitional Day School in IPSD 204. After earning a Bachelor's in Comprehensive Design from NIU and working in the design field, I discovered a true passion for supporting individuals with special needs. This shift inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Special Education at NIU, where I’ll graduate in Spring 2026. The purpose and connection I’ve found have made this the most meaningful chapter of my life.
